it's nice to be appreciated, sometimes.

i learn something new, every day. for instance, i just learned that today is national post-doc appreciation day.

then again, back in 2005, i could have enjoyed a full graduate student appreciation week.

come on.
was it worth defending that thesis, after all?

5 whole days .. imagine: i could have saved them up,
one for each year of grad school .. \:

oh well.
